We are very, very excited to announce that the new Castello Val di Colle website is complete and it is up and running. Our many, many thanks to our sister-in-law web designer, Renee Haim, for absolutely amazing work on this site. With St. Valentine’s Day fast approaching love is in the air and on the minds and hearts of so many.  Those who are grateful for love found, those who grieve love that is lost, those who still believe and search for their one true love, and even those who have grown weary in their belief in love.  We are all connected by love in many different ways, yet nonetheless bound by its intricacies.  Everyone desires a fairytale and for some of us we have been blessed in our lives to find it.  So this Valentine’s Day we are challenging all of you to submit your stories of love.  Whether it be a love you have found and will cherish a lifetime; a love you have lost in a twist of fate; a love you dream of and long for; or a fairytale love that sings deep within the secret desires of your heart.  To submit, just “like” our facebook page, “letters to marcello” and follow our blog here.  Post your story on our blog site here.  At the end of your story tell us your secret wish or indulgent desire!  Perhaps a trip to a foreign land; dinner with a handsome stranger; a gift for your significant other, your child, a friend in need, whatever the case it is your wish to make.  The winning story will not only be featured on the Letters-to-Marcello blog and on our facebook page, but the winner will have their wish come true!  Buona Fortuna (Good Luck) to all of you!

Most of us have all seen “Under The Tuscan Sun”; and for those who have not, you should immediately move it to the top of your “must see” list.   Let’s be honest here; we all melted when Marcello said, “You have beautiful eyes Francesca, I wish I could swim inside them.”  Why?  Because we  ALL long to meet our Marcello.  Whether you are a man or a woman, and to quote Lady Gaga, “no matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life…….”.  What we all long for is love.  To love and to be loved in return, unconditionally.  We found that love…….

Oddly enough we found it in Toscana, after seeing “Under The Tuscan Sun” for the 101st time.  I found it quite by accident; most literally.  Now we cannot imagine our life without it.  A beautiful and profound love is what we two share.  It is on this day we decide to share it with the world, by beginning the task of writing our story.  Here on this blog we hope that all of you will share with us your stories, thoughts, trials, tribulations and triumphs in love.  We want this to be a place to share love, and dreams of love.  To seek hope, or to offer hope, to those still searching.  This is a place where just as in life, anything is possible, and no one shall be judged.  As Cinderella learned in her fairytale, “Dreams Are A Wish Your Heart Makes.”  Our dream came true, our hearts wish…… Destiny…… One true love…… Forever…….
